Meet Ross Carmen

I’m Ross Carmen, owner of Maryland Windows and Doors. Contracting is in my blood. I’m a third generation contractor, born and raised in Baltimore and now living in Baldwin, and I was truly born for this line of work. It’s the trade I grew up around, and the one I’ve built my career on. Today I run a small, family-owned company that has been replacing windows and doors in Harford County and Baltimore County homes for 45+ years.

My background is in design, and I specialize in custom windows and doors. A lot of the homes we work in were not built for off-the-shelf sizes, so designing and fitting to the actual opening makes a real difference in how the finished job looks and performs. What I enjoy most is helping homeowners design a front entry door that fits their home and their style. It’s the first thing people see, and getting it right changes the whole feel of the house.

Just as much, I love finding ways to save our clients money, both on the products and on their energy bills over time. Energy-efficient windows and doors keep a home more comfortable and cut down on drafts, and I take real satisfaction in helping a homeowner land on the right product without overspending.
